Ive heard about a bomb...

please do not flame about this. it is a rumor i've herd. the military has a bomb that has no heat or over pressure. it uses neautrons or some sort of partical to vaporize things. ill get the name later. i just have to find the thing.

the bomb is actually a misslie. its a lancelot missile (IF ITS REAL IDK) but it has a plasma yeild warhead and it vaporizes things

That sounds like something out of Staw Wars!

it might be... but plasma yeild has been experimented with since the late 90's so it could be true and be being tested at area 51

It sounds like you may be alluding to a "Neutron Bomb" or Enhanced Radiation Weapon. (ERW)

The long and the short of it is, an ERW is a modified Nuclear device that expends a greater portion of its energy as a hard radiation pulse, rather than a devastating explosion. Granted, there is still a colossal explosion greater than that of conventional explosives, but there is far less collateral damage than a "garden variety" Nuke.

The tactical significance is that a target city would suffer minimal structural and infrastructure damage, but the radiation pulse would be, forgive me for saying so, more efficient at killing the population contained therein. The radiation is also more effective at penetrating hard targets like armor and bunkers, rendering fallout shelters useless.

ERW devices were experimented with by the United States and the former Soviet Union during the Cold War. I would say that it is likely the other Nuclear Powers have at the very least looked into their prodution.
